Niovi Christopoulou is an experienced business and legal professional currently focused on investments, VC and entrepreneurship.
Niovi is currently advising innovative companies on strategic and legal matters with a transatlantic focus (EU-based companies entering the US market, as well as US investors interested in EU-based opportunities). Niovi’s recent work experience includes working as director of capital partnering and Deputy GC at a NYC-based fintech company engineering first generation financial products with a focus on cryptocurrencies where she was engaged in product and business development, operations and legal matters.
Her legal experience includes working at international law firms in New York, London, and Washington DC with a focus on mergers & acquisitions and private equity and as an advisor to multinational companies on legal and strategic issues.
Niovi is currently a mentor for Endeavor Global and Endeavor Greece advising start-up companies on growth. She has served on the board of Association of Corporate Counsel – NY Chapter, the Board of Trustees of Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs and as a committee co-chair of Columbia Business School Alumni Club of NY. Niovi graduated with honors from Columbia University Law School (JD 2004, Stone Scholar) and Athens Law School in Greece. In 2018 she graduated from Harvard Business School’s HBX CORe Credential of Readiness in business fundamentals. She feels blessed to have been born and raised in Athens, Greece.
